Nashville (April 17, 2019 )- The 19th Annual JDRF Promise Gala was held at the JW Marriott Nashville Hotel on April 13th. The event, presented by Change Healthcare and Envision Healthcare and hosted by Nashville’s Fox 17 news anchor Stacy Case, recognized Eric Paslay as T1D Champion Award Honoree. During his acceptance of the honor, Eric spoke on his impactful work as an advocate in the type 1 diabetes community.
The JDRF Promise Gala was attended by 800 guests and raised $1.5 million dollars. All proceeds from the event will benefit JDRF, which is leading the way in creating a world without type 1 diabetes.
