NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (August 20, 2020) Three-time Grammy winner and a CMA Entertainer
of the Year Brad Paisley and seven-time Grammy winner and 2-time ACM Entertainer of the
Year Carrie Underwood will step into the circle together for the Grand
Ole Opry’s 4,940th consecutive Saturday night broadcast Saturday, September
5. The Opry will air on Circle TV
and SiriusXM as well as the Opry’s flagship home 650 WSM
AM and wsmonline.com. Paisley has been an Opry member since 2001 and Underwood
has been an Opry member since 2008.
Paisley,
who recently released his new single “No I In Beer,” and Underwood whose
first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, will release globally on September
25, have been friends since touring together early in Underwood’s career. The
two multi-award winning superstars went on to an 11-year run as one of the most
popular and successful hosting duos in CMA Awards history.
As the Grand Ole Opry approaches
its 95th year in the midst of a global pandemic, Opry members and
special guest artists have kept the music playing from the unbroken circle and
is reaching some of its largest audiences to date. The Opry has been reaching
millions of fans and making new ones each week as it has logged viewers from
over 100 countries worldwide who have been tuning in since shows with a live Opry
House audience were paused in mid-March. Opry Live on Circle TV has
consistently been in the top of the Pollstar Livestream Chart with an
average of over 1 million+ viewers consistently each week.
Though Opry shows with a live Opry House audience are paused, the
show will be broadcast live on Circle and
Gray TV stations, DISH Studio Channel 102, Sling TV and other TV affiliates. Opry Live on Circle will be hosted by
Bobby Bones. The livestream on Circle All Access and YouTube channel will be
guest hosted by Natalie Stovall, a member of the country trio Runaway
June and host of Circle’s Southern Weekend. Prior to the Opry Livestream
at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT, Circle Sessions: John Rich will air in a
special one-hour premiere at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT on Circle All Access’
Facebook, Twitter and YouTube social channels. The special is hosted by Nan
Kelley and was filmed at his house overlooking Nashville. Opry announcer Bill
Cody will be heard on 650 AM WSM and SiriusXM.
This Saturday, August 22, Capitol Records Nashville’s Jon
Pardi, Broken Bow Records rising female trio Runaway June and Opry
member Pam Tillis, celebrating her 20th Opry Anniversary, will
step onto the Grand Ole Opry stage at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT.
Those tuning into the

Saturday can watch a brand new Circle Sessions: Luke Bryan hosted
by Nan Kelley where he plays some of the songs that have influenced his career at
7:30 PM ET/ 6:30 PM CT immediately prior to the Opry.
