NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan 28, 2019) –Opry members Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will return to perform on the Tuesday night Grand Ole Opry February 5. In addition to their performances, the two will perform a special closing song joined by other special guests and artists on the night’s lineup that will be filmed and become part of the new VIP guest experience in state-of-the-art Opry House backstage tour theater and VIP event space that was announced in October and scheduled to open in Spring 2019.
The 100-seat space will feature a new backstage tour film that will include this performance featuring Brooks, Yearwood and guests and will also include new Opry member interviews and other performances as well as highlights from the Opry’s vast video and audio archives.

As previously announced the new space will transform at night into a VIP guest experience available to Opry-goers and featuring food and beverage options as well as pre-show entertainment and the opportunity to meet an artist scheduled for the evening’s performance.
The $12 million expansion project announced last fall adds to the Opry guests’ experience through several additions and enhancements, including a larger 5,000-square-foot retail footprint and a new box office. The project also includes a new parking area featuring 1,100 surface parking spaces on undeveloped land just north of the Opry House, adding a convenient parking option for Opry guests and providing the public with additional parking during peak times.
