“I’m disappointed we had to move the Ryman concert
to 2021 as I’ve dreamed of headlining that venue all my life growing up in
Nashville,” said Mitchell. “But we still have a great day of live music planned
for the fans and I’m challenging all of us to raise $10,000 to help families
who are dealing with a loved one’s cancer diagnosis. And my friends at Sarah
Cannon will match our donation!”

Nashville taking place at NOON Central. Tickets

Mitchell created the 10Penny
Fund in 2018 to
provide inspiration and to support programs that help build community, motivate
patients and encourage healing for people facing cancer and their loved ones.
Mitchell’s outreach grew from his own personal experiences dealing with his
father’s cancer and what his family learned through the process. In 2019, he
teamed up with the cancer experts from Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA
Healthcare, to renovate the ‘Family Room’ at the Hope Lodge.
About Mitchell Tenpenny
he released his debut single, “Drunk Me,” in early 2018, Riser House/Columbia
Nashville artist Mitchell Tenpenny has set new standards for breakout success
in country music. The 2X Platinum-certified, No. 1 hit was taken from his
introductory album, Telling All My Secrets, which arrived in December
2018 and earned him the best first-week showing for any major label country
debut LP of that year. To date, “Drunk Me” has amassed over 383 million
on-demand streams. In February 2019, the “winning” singer (the New York Times) was
nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards and Breakthrough
Video (“Drunk Me”) at the CMT Music Awards.
Later that year, he
kicked off his first headlining concert series, the “Anything She Says Tour,”
with labelmates and award-winning duo Seaforth joining as support. Seaforth is
also featured on the song, “Anything She Says.” In the past few months, the singer-songwriter
released two fan favorites: “Can’t Go To Church” and “Here.” With his
latest offering, “Broken Up,” Tenpenny revisits one of his signature themes:
breaking up. But this time, with his swooning tenor over a propulsive beat, he
looks inward, taking ownership of his feelings to craft one of his most
personal releases to date.
